Three people were killed when a tractor met with an accident in remote Dailekh district Tuesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Binod Basyal, 20, of Surkhet, Bhim Basnet, 30, of Salyan and Resham Khadka, 21, of Dailekh, District Police Office, Dailekh said.
The tractor headed to Dailekh from Surkhet carrying goods fell down some 400 meters into a ravine at Khadakwada VDC of the district.
Police said Basnet and Basyal died on the spot while Khadka breathed his last while being taken to hospital for treatment.

Limbuwan cadres disrupt Rastriya Janmorcha's programme against federalism
Federal Limbuwan State Council (Sanjuhang faction) disrupted a programme organised by Rastriya Janmorcha at Mukti Chowk of Birtamod, Jhapa in the course of its campaign against federalism, Wednesday.
Limbuwan cadres attacked RJM cadres including vice chairman Bir Bahadur Gole and disrupted the programme saying the party had organised the programme without their permission and that they had protested against federalism. Gole has sustained injuries on his hands and eyes.
RJM has started a campaign against federalism from December 25. It is the only party in the Constituent Assembly (CA) against federalism.

Four injured in Nepalgunj blast
At least three persons were injured in a blast in Nepalgunj, Banke district, Wednesday evening.
The bomb, which went off at market area near a hardware store at Surkhet road, also caused partial damage to some shops nearly, according to police.
Three of injured persons have been identified as Kausal Acharya, Yubaraj Chalise and Dilli Regmi.
Seriously injured Acharya, Chalise and Regmi have been referred to Bheri Zonal Hospital for further treatment from a Nepalgunj-based hospital.
Following the blast, security has been stepped in the district while all the shops were closed following the incident blast.

UNMIN presence not needed anymore: Peace minister
Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Rakam Chemjong, on Wednesday said Nepal doesn't need the UN mission anymore for concluding the peace process.
Minister Chemjong said the government does not feel it necessary to extend the tenure of the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN).
Speaking at an interaction programme in Dhankuta, minister Chemjong accused UNMIN of failing on several counts while monitoring the peace process.
According to him, the mission has been biased and that it is more loyal to the Unified CPN (Maoist).
Minister Chemjong mentioned that the Special Committee for supervison, integration and rehabilitation of the Maoist army combatants would be able to handle the remaining works of peace process after the UNMIN departs from Nepal
