A Swayambhu Yatayat bus numbered Ba 2 Kha 4307 en route Chabahil to Kalanki knocked down a pedestrian at Balaju, Sunday.
The pedestrian, Lila Ballabh, 45, of Shyangja died while being taken to the hospital.
The bus driver fled with the bus after the accident. Balaju police said, they arrested the driver involved in the accident later Sunday.
Over a dozen pedestrians have been killed in the past year when they were knocked down by Swayambhu Yatayat buses.
Why government is not taking any action against it since repeating many times killing many innocient peoples?
