Police van escorting PM's convoy overturns on the road, over dozen injured

Over a dozen policemen were injured when their van that was escorting Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's car overturned on the road at Danchhi, Kathmandu, Friday morning.

The van with the number plate Ba-1-Ga 2174, which was following the PM's car on the way to Sankhu, lost balance due to 'over speed' and turned turtle at a turning.
Four of the police personnel in the van were critically injured. The injured have been undergoing treatment at Birendra Police Hospital, Maharajgunj.
PM Nepal was going to the area to inaugurate the Sankhu Mahotsav.
