Maoists training cadres, commoners across the nation for 'self-defence'

The Unified CPN (Maoist) has been providing physical training to its cadres and commoners across the nation in the name of preparing them for a possible people's rebellion.

Reports say, in Kailali, some 3000 people including both the party cadres and the public have been kept at 10 different temporary camps for a week-long training. Youths aged 16 to 25 are participating in the training that kicked off Monday.
The party has arranged for their food and accommodation. They are being trained on baton-charging and self defence skills in mobs. The party has said, it plans to train another 7000 persons in the districts.
Interestingly, the party has chosen a slogan, 'all youths are YCL, all YCL are militants' for the training.
Likewise, physical trainings were also conducted in Banke district including headquarter Nepalgunj
