KATHMANDU: CPN-UML standing committee member KP Sharma Oli on Saturday blamed the Unified CPN-Maoist of dragging the nation into violence.
Speaking at a Race Competition organised to mark Loktantra Day in the capital, Oli said, "The recent activities launched by the UCPN-M in the name of so-called final struggle will drag the nation to violence."
"To whom the Maoists are targeting their final war at a time when representatives of people are ruling the nation," the former deputy PM said.
Saying that the upcoming Maoist demonstration is against the people, Oli urged the Maoists to find an outlet under the constitutional parameters.
