Nepal Telecom

Nepal Telecom (NT) has suspended four of its employees for alleged involvement in brokering the RIM cards it issued, Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported.
Those suspended are Srikrishna Baniya, assistant administrator of NT's Teku branch, assistant Kalpana Gyawali, senior assistant Ganesh Gautam and office assistant Icchyaraj Thapa.
NT suspended the employees after it found they had purchased ten bundles of RIM cards at the rate of Rs. 1,700 in collusion.
It has also formed a panel led by manager Bijaya Kumar Thakur to investigate into the allegations.
