An introduction to great Boudha Stupa

The great boudha stupa is situated at north-east direction of Kathmandu metropolitian,6-7km across in ward no:6.spreaded over the area of 15 ropani(according to shree Boudha chyan guthi shrestha),it has height of around 43.45meter,and hence,built under own fundamental style,this stupa can be claimed as world’s biggest stupa.this stupa has confined with the area of 82.36m*82.03m(according to booklet provided by antiques department),and has its own importance with the view of religion,culture,and antiques.this stupa has been develop as an area of Boudha religion, Education and Culture since ancient time.
Its prestige has been expanded more, after it has been declared in the list of World Heritage by UNESCO in 1979A.D, October. Althought the majority of the people were found to be of ‘Tamang’caste,with change in time,these people are seemed to extincting with replacement by people form Newari,Sherpas and Tibetians caste.apart from Boudha Stupa,It has been accompanied by temple of Azima, Guru Lakhang Monarchy,Historical Ghoilisang,Historic Water resource, Historic Cementory, Historic Stone tapes and historic various festivals like Bouddha Jayanti,Maghe Lochar,Mamala Jatra,Chaitra’s Temal Jatra,Manghsir’Schev Pooja,Shrawan’s Ropai Jatra come in relation with Boudha stupa culturally. Since the general beliefs explains the fulfillment of human’s long-term(Birth-by-Birth-to)will and achievement of Virvana by worshipping here,the Boudha stupa is accompanied by fulfillment of various religious works like Painting Limes ,Flagging ,Lighting and so on.
